    Stoomlocomotief Rh 75 ex BR 91 van de NS

    Met de T 9.3 in zijn Rh 75-kleurstelling van de NS uit tijdperk III (voorheen BR 91.3 DRG) komt een veelzijdige locomotief uit de gouden eeuw van het spoor tot leven op H0-schaal. Deze locomotief werd in werkelijkheid succesvol gebruikt voor zowel goederen- als passagierstreinen en rangeerwerk, en het PIKO-model imponeert ook met zijn universele toepasbaarheid op de modelbaan.

    De Expert stoomlocomotief laat weinig te wensen over qua constructie en reproduceert alle structurele en visuele kenmerken van het prototype. Het cabinedak is afgerond en de ramen eronder bieden een glimp van het minutieus gedetailleerde interieur. Talrijke losstaande onderdelen, zoals de fluit op het dak, de bel op de ketel en de levensechte lampen en bedrading, getuigen van modelbouw van het hoogste kaliber. Hetzelfde geldt voor het chassis met zijn fraaie gegoten zinkwielen en delicate remmechanisme.

    De in de fabriek geïntegreerde PIKO PSD XP-geluidsdecoder maakt het mogelijk om de verlichting in de cabine en het chassis te schakelen. Daarnaast simuleert een digitaal aangestuurde, flikkerende led in de vuurhaard de rode gloed van kolen. Alle verlichting, inclusief de richtingskoplampen, maakt gebruik van moderne, onderhoudsvrije led-technologie. Talrijke realistische geluiden zorgen voor een authentieke werking van de modelspoorbaan.
