Rietze
In 1970, the company Rietze Bausatzfertigung was founded by Lothar Rietze. Especially for the companies Modellbau Dörfler and Modellbau Schweiger in Nuremberg and the company Pola, the then manufacturer of model railway accessories in Rothausen, construction kit novelties were assembled into finished models. The company Rietze GmbH & Co. KG, based in Altdorf near Nuremberg and with a branch office in Zwickau, has been an innovative, medium-sized family-run model railroad company for more than 35 years.
The Rietze model railway miniature trucks and passenger cars are very realistic and indispensable on the layout. Rietze is best known for the model railway buses in 1:87 scale as well as the many emergency vehicles of Police, Fire Brigade and Ambulance.
