NS Diesel Loc Rh 500
Between 1946 and 1989, the diesel-electric locomotives of the 500 series shaped everyday operations of the Dutch Railways (NS). A total of 45 machines were in service—reliable, powerful and unmistakable. The first ten units (nos. 501–510) arrived in the Netherlands right after World War II via the British War Department. The distinctive grey three-axle locomotives quickly became indispensable workhorses for shunting operations—especially at major stations like Utrecht, Zwolle and Rotterdam Feijenoord. Thanks to their great reliability, NS soon expanded its fleet: another 35 locomotives followed (nos. 511–545), initially in classic olive green and from the 1970s onwards in the modern yellow-grey livery.

NS Stake Wagon (27753)
With the grey-painted printed version of the LWRK 87855 stake wagon, a true classic of Dutch freight transport rolls onto the tracks of your H0 model railway. STAR Diesel Loc 2278 (40449)
With the STAR 2278, PIKO brings a particularly powerful all-purpose diesel locomotive to the N scale layout. The real-life prototype of this Class 2200 locomotive was suitable for freight, shunting and passenger operations – and the model reflects this with strong pulling power, stable running qualities and modern technology.
VolkerRail Freight Wagon (40704)
The PIKO N scale model of the VolkerRail freight wagon impresses with an entirely new design and exceptional attention to detail in shape, colour, and printing. Finely engraved bogies, a close-coupling mechanism, and removable and adjustable chocks ensure realistic operation on your model railway.
